ABSTRACT

This work explores the concept of continuous improvement and its impact on corporate reputation. The geographical scope of this study is Aluminum manufacturing companies in Port Harcourt, Rivers State. The cross-sectional explanatory survey research design was adopted for this study. Self – administered structured questionnaires were used to collect data from a population of 5 (five) Aluminum manufacturing companies in Port Harcourt. This was done through census. The respondents consisted of 4 leader managers selected across the 5 Aluminum manufacturing company’s understudy.  Method of data analysis which focused on the bivariate relationship was the Spearman Rank Order Correlation with the aid of Statistical Package for Social Science Version 23.0. The paper concluded that there is a strong relationship between continuous improvement and corporate reputation in terms of organizational image and identity. Management of companies should adopt, nurture and implement continuous improvement practices as this helps the companies gain customer trust, fosters operational efficiency and ameliorates the reputation of the firm before its stakeholders.
