West African Journal of Business

(EDITORIAL POLICY)

West African Journal of Business is a well-established journal that publishes articles, reports, news and information on all aspects of the business management and social sciences. The journal is fundamentally concerned with the improvement of business practices and so contributions from practitioners are particularly welcomed provided that relationship between theory and practice is made explicit. Contributions are encouraged to make use of original documents, schedules and development material if this would be of interest to other practitioners. Areas of coverage include: general management, marketing, accounting, banking and finance, mass communication, office and information management, business law, economics, management education and other aspects of human development. Papers intended for publication are expected to conform to the following guidelines:

1. Authors whose papers are accepted for publication will be informed in writing..

2. Articles intended for publication (three copies) should be submitted to the Editor, West African Journal of Business, C/o Department of Management, Rivers State University, Port Harcourt or via email: mgtjournal@ust.edu.ng

3. All articles intended for publication must not have been published elsewhere.

4. Articles for publication must contain abstracts, which summarizes the scope and purpose of the article in not more than two hundred words, and the article must be suitably sub-divided with the divisions and sub-heads clearly marked in the text.

5. The cover of each article should include a submission sheet with the following information: Title of Article, Name of Author, present post and current mailing addresses, and e-mail address.

6. Articles are not normally expected to exceed 25 pages of A4 paper, type written in double line spacing, Times New Roman font type and 12 point font size.

7. Works cited in the paper should follow the APA Referencing style, 6th edition.

8. Authors who use tables and graphs should put them in their appropriate location in the article.

9. All Manuscripts sent in for publication will be promptly acknowledged, and such manuscripts will be reviewed by three assessors working independently and anonymously.

Nigerian Business and Social Review

Nigerian Business and Social Review is a well-established journal that publishes empirical and conceptual reviews from the business and social worlds.
